This utility will create registration codes for both the Rude Dog On-Line
Adventure Engine and the Vampire Knights scenario for the engine. Both are
needed to run the game in registered mode.

To generate your registration codes, run the DOS program VKREG.EXE. Enter the
BBS name and SysOp name you wish to register the game with. These must be
entered exactly as you want them to appear in the game. Two codes will be
generated, one for the RUDEOLAE and one for the scenario.

The Rude Dog Software Configuration Editor from the Vampire Knights door game
is used to enter the registration data. Run RUDE_CFG.EXE from the door's
installation directory. Select the game configuration file you are using (the
default is GAME.CFG and you will already know if you have changed it) to edit
the game's configuration.

Make sure the options:

 A) BBS Name:
 B) Sysop Name:

*EXACTLY* match what you entered in the registration code generator. Select
the options:

 K) RUDEOLAE Registration Code:
 L) Scenario Registration Code:

and enter the registration codes which were generated. Select [S]ave
Configuration File to save the information you have entered. The game will
now run in registered mode.

Alternately you may edit the file GAME.CFG with any text editor. Locate the
configuration keywords "BBS" and "SYSOP" and change the values to what you
entered in the registration code generator. Change the value of "REGCODE" to
the number generated for the RUDEOLAE Registration Code and change the value
of "SCENEREGCODE" to the number generated for the Scenario Registration Code.

NOTE: If you have created multiple GAME.CFG files, the registration
information will need to be entered into each one.
